Initially this role will be 7.5 hours a week for six months. These hours can be completed in one day per week or spread over two days per week.
Duties include:
- Writing, editing and reviewing content, e.g. web, social media, print, magazines and annual reports
- Identifying communication/marketing opportunities in the QUT student space
- Managing engagement and communication projects, including meeting with stakeholders, collating information, developing a strategy and delivering communication products
- Provide communications advice in departmental meetings
Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with QUT’s social media platforms/how students want to be communicated with
- Current QUT student – communications/marketing/journalism or similar
Desired
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop)
- Video editing
